Revd Dr Geoff Holmes worked as a curate in Rotherham and a Vicar in Barnsley between 1992 and 2005. He then spent some years working in schools, for the NSPCC, and independently as a funeral celebrant. He completed a PhD in the Faculty of Engineering at Sheffield University in 2013 and has since worked in various departments of the university applying mathematical models to biological and engineering problems and more recently as a modeller in the area of health economics and decision science. Geoff has four children and enjoys running, cycling and playing tennis.
Robert Watson FCA has worked in accountancy and taxation for over 20 years. He joined Gibson Booth as an accounts trainee, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant and progressing through the firm’s ranks to Managing Director in 2014. He has vast experience of business and financial matters with a passion for providing high quality professional support and advice to local businesses. Robert loves all things sport, prefers playing to watching , enjoys running and walking his dogs in his spare time. Robert is married with two daughters.
